FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why Curbing?

Decorative concrete edging is a great way to give your lawn a finished look while retaining your rock or mulch. There are many color and design options to choose from. Design flexibility including flowing curves, straight lines and custom designs will add a distinct look to any home.

Can I afford this?

You will be surprised at how inexpensive curbing is when compared to other edging products. The quality, beauty, and durability of our curbing, in addition to the fact that it is completely installed with no work for the home owner, makes this product quite a value.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for your arrival?

There are only a few things that we will need in order to complete the job.

  • We will need access to water source (hose hook up). *Note that it is important that this water source is not connected to a water softener.
  • It is important that you let us know of any objects that we may come in contact with. Such as invisable fences, cable and phone lines, sprinkler systems, etc.
  • Turn the irrigation system off the day before our arrival and not turn back on until 2 days after installation.
  • It is imperative to keep children, pets and guest away from the curbing for the first few days.

How deep do you dig?

We dig about 2 inches deep by 12" wide without disturbing your existing landscape beds.

Is the color painted or stained on the curb?

Our colors are iron oxide pigment which are mixed into the concrete during the mixing process. You may experience a little fading, but this is considered normal in any outdoor color application. We apply a clear acrylic commercial grade sealer the day of installation. We recommend you re-seal the curbing after 6 months and then annually to help assure a long and healthy life for your decorative concrete curbing.
